About The Troutfitter

Located at an altitude of 8,000 ft in the High Sierra resort community of Mammoth Lakes, Calfornia, the Troutfitter is a full-service fly shop with a staff of 14 plus 16 guides, including the owner who still guides full time in the summer at the ripe old age of 70 – Kent has aged another year!. This is trout country and we chase Rainbow, Brown, Cutthroat, Brook and Golden Trout all year round. The business was started in 1992.
